    Urgent lcd mounting help

As you can see here, the board is just free flopping, the touch and lcd are all screwed in, but there is absolutely no way of mounting the controller back to the back of the casing.

I need to figure out a way to hold it still/mount it where it doesnt just flop around

Looks like you have enough room to put the controller back into the back of the LCD case and screw it back to the front half. Else you will have to make some small brackets to mount the PCB onto and screw to the back of the front bezel.
Or the really cheap method is to use double sided tape on the back of the LCD to stick to the cont. PCB.

You could get a big piece of plexi and cut it so that it just fits inside the bezel and behind the screen itself. Cut holes for the cables and screw holes, and bolt it in place. Epoxy the plexi into the bezel.
EDIT: Now that I look at the pictures more closely, you could just use a piece of plexi that's just big enough for the old lilli screw holes and bolt it to those instead of epoxying it to the bezel. This will probably be quicker / easier / less likely to suffer alignment problems.
Old plans out the window because of an accident .

just make up 4 tabs with a hole in that you can screw into the old casing holes there to support the 4 corners- simple and effective

I actually did try this but it was a ***** getting them screwed in, so I opted for high temp dual lock velcor

Hey, it works. This is the last time I ever take a lcd apart, jesus. When I plugged it up, white and green lines everywhere, had to take it back apart, damn ribbon cable had came loose.

    Its fine now tho!

Not a bad solution. Are you sure that after 6 months or so of heat and cold that the sticky tape will continue to stick?

You could insert the screws into the four corner points and then wrap insulated wire in a criss cross pattern just to make sure it stays put.

Also, I've seen several people either hot glue or epoxy the ribbon cable in place.
