I just sent an email out explaining my problems. I'm waiting to hear back. And no, there is no VGA signal when booting.

I have now emailed them too, I expet to get the same reply but at least I'll be added to the distribution list for any further emails.
They must be aware of the issues, the seriousness and the effect on the companies reputation if they are holding a three day meeting about it.I am having a meeting with Lilliput Electronics Company Limited (Zhangzhou)
from 26th July to 28th July 2005 for Lilliput 7" motorized in-dash
touch-screen monitor. Hence, all the emails will be replied afterwards.
Regardless of what EX-Audio has done / not done, at some stage lilliput have supplied them with faulty / low quality screens. Once a reseller has your product they will sell it. Its simple sales person mentality.
I am a design engineer myself and for products i have designed, its my responsibility to ensure that they are 100% ready for sale before my sales people have access to them. This is simply because as soon as the sales people have the product, they will sell it. Thats their job...
Basically nobody but lilliput can be blamed for this release of a product that clearly isnt ready for release, and the damage its going to do to their otherwise good name. This is ofcourse unless EX-Audio is selling some screens that were test units or demo units, and were specifically told they were not for sale.
Update:
After messing around with the VGA cable I go it to work! It seems to be working 100% now. The spot where the round plug attached to the other round port seemed to be faulty. I was able to ge it to work after unplugging and plugging it back multiple times. I'm happy with the monitor for now, I'm just hoping it won't happen again.
Also, has anyone got the TV to work? I'm wondering if it is NTSC compatible. Thanks.

I wish I could fix the problem the same way
I just recieved the following:
Hi,
Our director has already gone to Lilliput's factory for this product.
Please believe us the product's problem will be settled down later.
At this moment please ship it back.
We will send you a new replacement then.
Thank you.
An update from Lilliput:
Thank you for your email. You can require full refund if you are not satified with Lilliput products. Please contact the seller. Actually Lilliput Electronics (USA) Inc. is sole authorize distributor of LILLIPUT products in U.S. We do not sell this item since we understand the quality issue in U.S. market and the factory is working on improving quality right now. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Does anyone else out there believe our shipping expenses should be covered. I am debating on whether or not to send mine back. I surely do not want to loose $25 each way for shipping.

Make sure the USB cable is plugged into the computer as well. For whatever reason, the picture is WIERD and doesn't show up all the time when the touch screen usb cable isn't attached. Just a thought.Originally Posted by BikeBoy24
