Well I think we’ve bashed this thread to death now so I think its time for
ex-audio, Lilliput, eBay, and pay-pal to get their finger out and sort this mess out once and for all
Personally all we want out of this is a fully functional product delivered to are door as promised at no extra cost to any buyer tied up in this mess, and also for ex-audio and Lilliput to accept they can't carry on treating valid customers like this and stay in business.
An immediate response from both parties assuring us that this problem is now put to right would put an end to this mess, but somehow I don’t see that happening because up to now Lilliput haven’t responded to my email asking to clarify the situation.
So I connect the BATT wire to wire 1 and the 2 GND wires to wire 2?
Ok this isn't working... Does anyone want to help me?
This is bad man, don’t envy ex-audio when things like this go on and then items are returned faulty, sorry but they also have rights.Originally Posted by blackflux

Ok it's something up with the wiring of this unit. I just kept messing with it and accidentally swapped the BATT and VCC. And this is what I found out.
BATT connected to +12 volts:
1. Unit will power on
2. Able to fold/unfold the screen
3. Video doesn’t work
VCC connected to +12 volts:
1. Unit will power on
2. Not able to fold/unfold the screen
3. Video works
You need to connect them both to +12 volts for testing. In the car VCC goes to the ignition (only actitive when car is running) and BATT gets constant feed from the battery.
^^^I'm at work right now but I'll try it out first thing when I get home. Oh and I also hear a beep/click when the screen folds in. Can't remember if it does it when the screen folds out.
Rewired it for testing and everything seems to be working correctly now. The remote is a piece though. I guess you have to point it directly at the HU. Anway I'll keep messing with it to see if it's going to hold up or not.
