Yes most problems start when the screen is built into the car! I wonder why....Could be regulation? I mean it may need 12V straight instead of the 12-15V of the car?

Quite possible, although there is the possibility that switching to radio mode is messing up the firmware or that wiring is incorrectly labled or incorrectly connected internally or...

Lilliput still have this product advertised as coming soon! That to me say’s it’s not ready for the distribution yet.

That to me says ex-audio is gonna start selling them on ebay in a couple of days...

Surely, all they would have to do is connect it up in a mock situation on the bench for a few days to find out just how many problems this thing has.

Probably, but that's in the world of respectable companies with a QA team. These screens are probably not even assembled by lilliput, but they're made by rejects in a dark, damp warehouse in Malaysia by hand, Disclosure-style... using spare parts and putting them together with spit.

Your screen was probably never even turned on until it ended up in your house.

Now you’re talking, mine was assembled some how then tried and returned a few times before I got it. (page 26)

I saw those... but yours is "new" -- it's just that they picked the parts from a dumpster in the back of the lilliput warehouse and put it together.

I bet you if you open it you'll find some rat droppings inside jamming the motors.

It's ridiculous how these guys sell hundreds of these things...
