lilliput in-dash 7"

I am in Canada And a friend of mine is setting up a local shop for car computers and stuff. He just brought in 5 units from lilliput i have bought 1
i was at his house so we tested them and they all worked fine. He said he received them last week from lilliput after ordering them 2 months ago
they wouldnt ship them too him because they said their was a problem with the screens. He sold it too me for 650 US. can get some pics later to see if these are the same units as the one from ex audio

I am going to hook it up in my car this weekend

Just the fact that there were so many bad units shipped out, says that Lilliput was responsible for this whole mess. Ex-Audio was only distributing the units that Lilliput sent them. ALTHOUGH, the burden still rested on Ex-Audio to actually test these units before sending out.

Whoever said that Ex-Audio was selling demo/beta units, didn't have the story straight. How can there be so many demo/beta units? It just doesn't add up.

The majority worked fine at home....however they start having problems when they are hooked up in the car! Now look at your miniVGA port, which one have you got? They one with the S-video and 2 RCA out or the one with a few more inputs?

That was me, but what I said was, I think we have all been beta testers for Lilliput, I have no evidence to support this, it was just my thoughts at the time.

Trust me Regal is right, we were in a way or another BETA testers for Lilliput! Some of us still are. I am for sure since I am just waiting for my unit to break! When we talk we dont just talk buls***, we know when and what to say!

I'm not disagreeing with you guys! We obviously got the first release...probably a bunch of beta units!

I thought it was someone who was running the mp3car store, who said their information was from a reliable source?

Anyone returning their screen for replacement is asked no to return it with any cable or wiring. If the new models are different, VGA cable, we might be in a bit of a spot regards wiring.
