Well I'm dealing with UPS, but its customs that’s playing silly burgers.
I guess most people try to think the best of people and assume the replacements will be ok. Realisically though if it wasn't for this forum I would have assumed mine was the only one that had failed due to the lack of feedback left on ebay.With all the people that brought from the same ebay seller, why haven't more people left negative feedback?
What info did you give? Did you give the shipping number used to return it to hong kong? Are you dealing with customs or with ups? Ups left me a message about clarifying the import duty with a telephone number but they never answer it I've tried the last four days at different times, not sure whether to try and track the person down or just wait and see if anything comes in the post, I have the items though so I guess I could just wait.Customs refused information given yesterday, they now need proof of warranty exchange, obviously there was no paperwork accompanying my screen.
Personnaly I went for a standard touchscreen, hopefully they'll have sorted the problems for you though.I just want to make sure everyone getting a replacement is planning on posting to report the quality of the new unit?

At last my screens been released from customs, although I was told today I will be charged storage as well as Vat, not sure about the duty until it arrives.

I finally got my replacement today! Had to pay taxes and duties though. I'll have to talk to Fedex about that. It seems to be working. I've been tinkering with it for the past few hours.

They only sent the headunit. I'm using my original harness. I haven't checked for the speaker outputs. I won't be using the internal amp anyways.
