grrrr....this happens in all TFT touch-screens?
yup, the touchscreen overlay is what causes it to be dimmer than most monitors
So far - 1.1ghz athlon 4 Sharp Laptop, 256mb RAM, 20GB HDD, 32MB on board graphics. CDRW/DVD, 600W Boschmann amp, K301 InDash Screen
then...it is normal this "image quality a bit poor" in the lilliput indash??

yes, the original stand-alone screen are very reflective. I was hoping that they had changed the TS for these motoriseds but I could see from the first picture of one on this thread that they were just as bad.
If only I could get my hands on a working model.
So the touchscreen is basicaly run by electrical impulses from your finger, and not pressure? Otherwise they could put it behind the cfl module instead.
Anyway that is too bad. I have been waiting quite awhile to get my car pc together, and I would particularly enjoy a motorized Lilliput as it would remove the need for fabrication and what not. (In a wrx dash) Plus one could hope that by moving it the glare could be reduced so that one could actually read the LCD in the day.
