    Unhappy Help me I don't know what's wrong :(

Okay, so I have a Sharp LQ64D341 LCD screen, and I just got my controller card today. So I connected everything up, but the screen wont kick on!

The backlights come on, but there is no picture. So what's wrong with it? Is it the card, or the LCD screen?

I called earthlcd (where I bought the card from), and they said they tested the card before they shipped it, and that it was working fine. So they said to check the fuse on my LCD pannel. How do you check the fuse? He said something about taking a meter to it...I have a voltimeter, but I don't get how you test it.

Could someone please help me out? I got the screen from ebay, and the guy said I had 10 days to return it if it was DOA (dead on arival), but I don't know if it is. Plus I got the LCD way before I got my controller card so those 10days are up. Hopefully the guy will be sympathedic, and exchange it for me.

P.S. Could you please give me your AIM/AOL screen name, or ICQ, or Yahoo! or ANY means of chat username/id/screen name? Please I like live help!!!

Also what is this thing that the controller card came with? Is it for touch screen?

Each one of the little square things between the ribbon cable, and the LED is some sort of button because when you press em, they click.

Ok the most simple way is to set it to the audible setting (it should have a sound icon, if you touch the two leads together it makes a sound), then touch one lead to one side of the fuse and the other to the opposite end. If it makes a sound the fuse is good. Usually you can also look through the glass part and see if the filament is broken or not.

The controller card is not for a touch screen, it is just a set of buttons you can use to control it, on-screen display or something.
