Lilliput Touchscreen Problems

Hey everyone!! Ahh, I hate lilliputs, and how I regret getting one. But now to the problem, at first, the lilliput was working wonders. I never had ANY problems, and then, it started to decrease in performance. It never really touched the dges, and soon enough, the far 1/2 inch of the right side semi circle doesn't work (hard to explain), and now, it will just fail out. So whenever I start my computer, it will work fine, like pretty accurate (except that semi circle of not working), and then like anywhere from 5-15 seconds later, it will stop working. I try to unplug it and plug it back in, and tthere is nothing. It's just stuck. I think I'm using the newest version of the drivers (the beta), but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hmm, now, it willw ork at the start, and when I recalibrate it right when the computer starts, it will stay on for like a minute or two, and then it will start to drift away, and gradually shift. Then the touchscreen will freeze for like a minute, making it unusable, and then a minute later, it will be on, but the calibration is totally off. HELP!!

ts panel has gone bad man... mine just happened too so i bought a replacement. Im getting it put in as we speak

yup, you have the famous bad half circle problem that the lilliput TS comes up with

The first step on the road to recovery is acceptance. Please avoid smashing the monitor against the wall, this will only hurt your pocketbook.

Yes, step away from the hammer, everything is going to be fine. Just call or email the doctors at digitalww and they can get you a new touchscreen overlay to fix your baby for $50

I swear, all I've had from day 1 is problems with this god damn touch screen!!! How hard is the overlay to install? Everything is already fabricated and put in place? How am I suppost to do this??

Well even though everything is fabricated in you should still be able to pull the LCD out from the bezel no?

it's just a simple matter of pulling the LCD out, cutting the tape that holds the TS on the LCD and taping the new one on.

Where did you buy your screen from? When my Lilliputs went bad (twice), Ziplock replaced them for free.

I finally gave in the second time, paid the difference, and got the Xenarc.
