    is touchscreen sensitivity adjustment possible?

i have a 700-TSV and it feels like i have to press the screen kinda hard. is there an adjustment option, or a sepereate program or something, that will let me adjust it to where it needs less pressure to work?

    thanks

Mine is real tough as well. I can't seem to find anywhere in the config where I can adjust the sensitivity. Anyone know how?

99% of touch controller does not come with any pressure sensitivity adjustments....only couple of them does have this feature, but, its 100% dependent on the type of touchpanel used. coz technically, the toucscreen controller is only reducing the sensitivity on a very high quality touchpanel.

if the touchpanel is getting tough and taking lot more pressure on the whole screen or on the corner areas (which usually happens on old fujitsu manufactured touchpanel - not in the new models) its because its going to die....touchscreens are usually liquid fill and after some time (depend on the manufacturers specification) it start reducing the sensitivity of resistence which is produced by touching the panel.

    hope this helps.

i got bunch of touchpanels and i use them every single day....i can proove it that most of them are liquid fill....i can even send you one which is taking a lot more pressure and its replaced due to this problem....liquid fill touchpanels are resistive touchpanels - just incase if you are comapring it with other type of touchpanels.

How can you prove it? Standard resistive touch panel technology is tiny metal oxide particulates embedded in the screen. That's why they have such a negative impact on sunlight readability because you're effectively putting a slightly cloudy and hence more than normally reflective glass screen in front of your lcd. All the lilliput and Xenarc touch screens use that technology for e.g. What touch screen do you have?
