    Angry HDD44780 Garbled Display

I have got a 4X20 LCD char display that works fine on My original MP3IAN (AMD K6-2 500MHz) but i have tried putting it onto a Pentium 133MHz and it displays Garbley images! Has anyone had a similar problem? I am using two seperate cable but I am sure the wiring is right.
    Any ideas???

All Fixed! Was to do with a problem with the onboard parralell port. I installed a Paralell port card and no problems!

    Glad you got it working,

but a little note for referance, there are various types of parallel port SPP EPP ECP, your problem may be related to the fact that you've got the wrong type of parallel port selected in the BIOS.

If you have a play with the BIOS you might be able to do away with the parallel port card.

Also what plugin are you using, some of them are a bit of a pain to configure, in terms of talking to the parallel port.

    BTW I like the Moke.
