    motorized indash power question

i just recieved my motorized indash same as the dww 700m off ebay and tested it seems ok. my question is about the red power wire, does it have to come straight from the battery or can i connect it to the distrobution block in the trunk? also what size fuses should i use or do i need any? my switched power is coming from the ps in the trunk.

    thanks

perhaps yours is different but my red is the + switched igniton line with the yellow being the +Ve constant.

Anyway, no you dont have to tap direct from the battery if you have an adequate distro block properly wired somewhere. As for fuses, its up to you, it wont harm anything putting an inline fuse in but I dont and I run direct from my switched supply too.
