    Touch Screen in-dash monitor

Okay, after quite a bit of research, and from the input of you guys, I've decided to purchase the K301. Before I do, I was hoping to hear some more feedback on this model. Although I really haven't heard anything bad said about it, I really haven't seen any post reviewing it in the positive either.

Please, if you bought this product share your opinions here.

The screen itself is good, needs a quality live/earth or it flickers ALOT
    motor etc all look solid
the cage it comes with is a total pain in the arse its made out of butter
the bezel was designed to fit something else im sure, cos it doesnt fit the cage thats for certian

dont let any of that put you off though, its a good bit of kit im pleased with mine so far

Thanks for the info. It looks like this is the best unit on the market right now. Where did you buy yours? Also, when the screen is not back all the way is there a lot of play to it, or is it solid?

how do you mean back all the way? no matter what angle its at when its open if you push it too hard it bends backwards, thats part of the design though to stop you putting strain on the gears

So if you don't force it, it will stay pretty solid? Some of them are all floppy and crap.

tap it and it stays solid, prod it with your finger with some force it will fold back, it does not flap about on bumps etc and my car has very very stiff suspension

ryanmt, please could you let me know what angles you could set it at when its open? I'm after a screen that can be set at 0 degrees (I want to mount it vertically). This screen looks my fave so far, just hope it can be set not to flip back once it comes out.

Thanks for the reply, you got it in one...may have to modify the unit then by opening it up and removing the gears that flip it back. Would you say its easy to open up without completely messing it up?
