Okay .. Lets say you've been building up an EBay rep for years, selling some screens that your cousin makes in a local factory. everything is groovy, the screens are so cheap to make that you can sell them anywhere in the world.
Suddenly there's a problem with almost every screen you sell, your cousin has no resolution, he's getting screwed by his suppliers who are giving him low grade parts.
At this point you don't want to ship screens, you want to figure out who gets a refund and who has already been shipped. This is huge work and slow going.. People panic, start giving you bad reviews that just slaughter your ebay profile.
So you give up, close shop, mail your cousin a bag of fresh turds and focus on giving refunds to anyone that you must.
This does not look good for you guys or those of us who might need service.
Moreover, if my screen did die and I wanted another one, how would I get a replacement?! Why the heck can't Alpine, Sony, Pioneer, or even Audiovox start making in-dash touch screens with VGA inputs?!
So so sad..

I don't want a deposit that is the thing I am hanging out because all I want is the screen so I can have a touchscreen vga monitor in my car. Anyone have any ideas to contact or find out what is going on? Maybe even just some way to get a time frame?

It has been 2 full weeks now and so I was about to file a paypal dispute and it right before I finished it said this message from the seller. Do you think it is legit or what do you think is happening. I am going to try this email tonight and see if I get anywhere.
Message from Your Seller
Dear Valued customer, Thank you for your business. We are terribly sorry to inform you that a recent typhoon in Hong Kong has caused a flood in our warehouse. We can ensure you that this is only a temporary set back as we will be receiving new inventory from the manufacture shortly. We apologize for any inconveniences that this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please contact our representative at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (852) 3151-7872. Thank you. Regards, Audio Image Electronics.
I never got this message until I started filing the dispute claim?

Check with paypal, see how long you can wait before you no longer can demand a refund thru paypal. I think these bozos should offer a refund if they want your business..?
