    I never got this message until I started filing the dispute claim?
    LOL - I got an almost exact copy of that message about a month ago when I was trying to get a replacement for my DOA unit. (SP-716 Touchscreen Quality)

    When I got my version of the "typhoon message" I did a quick check on the weather for the H.K. area and sure enough, there had been a series of typhoons during the timeframe in question. So, I let it slide and kept up a failry consistent barrage of e-mails to their tech support guy "Ken".

    The end result? After over a month of waiting, and a crapload of e-mails, I FINALLY got a replacement unit just last week. They sent no notice of it being shipped to me, it just appeared on my doorstep one evening. Thankfully the new unit seems to be in perfect working order, which is especially good since it doesn't look like there will be any way to get it replaced given the current situation.

    If anyone else is still waiting for a resolution, don't give up hope yet. There may still be a bit of life (and decency) left in AI-Electronics . . . maybe.

    Does are good news Siezmik. The Tech guy "Ken" also helped me with my RMA number and all.... Hopefully I'll get my screen too, they have 30 days until paypal does something, but it sucks if they do not respond and for me to loose the $350 of the unit.. We'll see what happens!

    A bit off topic

    I really am sorry to hear you are having such a problem, that is the same guy I bought mine from a little over a year ago. I would continue to persue it with PayPal, and if it does come, by some remote chance, you can always drop the claim.

    EDIT: I got the drivers, and all is well. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!

    Now, Guys, sorry to hijack this thread with a request, but seems like the best place to do it, as many of you have this screen as well.

    I just did a re-install on my car pc, and can not find the drivers disk for the touchscreen. could one of you guys be so kind a to please zip it up and email it to me? I would REALLY appreceiate it, as using a mouse in the car SUX!

    you can just use the latest touchkit drivers. i have this screen and i think these drivers actually are more accurate than the ones provided with the screen. you can download the touchkit here:

    I just found this forum and apparently other people have had the same problem with yuki668 as I did. I'm waiting for my paypal claim to go through. Does anyone know another place to get this screen? What was the last thing anyone has heard from ai-electronics?

    no word from ai-electronics. I've tired numerous emails and now just like you I am waiting for the paypal claim to come through but I'm hoping it will just show up at my door .... tomorrow


    anyone know how long it takes for a paypal claim to go through? It is on "reviewing case".

    This sucks.. I havent heard anything from them... I am already ****ed off even more... Stupidly, I still have some hope to get my screen.. Also waiting on paypal... SO I might get my $36 that I sent them to ship my lcd back to me

    I saw another seller of TSP-716s on ebay, they have a seller rating of 2004 with 99.1% pos feedback. Seller, lettucetrade, is in Hong Kong and has 6 units for sale. The listings can be found here. Maybe he is the cousin of yuki668...
