I put the screen in my car today it seemed like it was working up to the xp boot screen and then it just lost the signal somehow, checked all the connections everything was fine. anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

So does anyone know of any different drivers or pehaps firmware upgrades we can do to these panels to make them more reliable?

Ive tried all the ones from www.egalax.com.tw to no avail (the latest ones just make XP crash on startup)

Im hoping this as a last ditched attempt before i have to buy a Lilli panel separately maing this a costly encounter!

Yeah I ordered mine from digitaww. And now that the touch panel problem has been resolved it works great. Btw armen has great customer service, would of never had that support from a ebay seller. If you have one of the firsts ones like me you might have touchpanel problems. But they are replacing them and now its great.

Only touchpanel problem people are having is that they come loose.. All you have to do is gule the damn thing right and it works. I had that problem with my old lilliput, but i also have JL 12w/7 pounding. so chances are that his one is going to come loose, but i can fix it no biggy.

No this is a diff problem. It wouldn't stay calibrated. Its a known problem from the manufacture. The manifacture is the one that found the fix for it. He had quite a few with the problem. Replacing the TS panel seemed to take care of it.

    what version did u try.

I had the same problem with the 3.4.0.4329 it would freeze up xp every time, so then, since at teh time the link wasn't working, i googled for teh 4.0.2.1929 and those work great, for some reason i had to check teh ps/2 option during the driver install for it to work, this was with a lilliput though but figure its the same thing since its the same drivers.
