I have a 8.4 sharp LCD got from Ebay for $40. I don't have a product # but I think you know what I'm talking about.

Anyway my first Q is if I use pci contoller that what is the max. resolution and color?

I heard that pci is much clear than analog one.

well this is what I'm planning to do.

I have sony receiver and TV tuner.
I found this device put video signal directly to the computer monitor without a computer http://www.starkelectronic.com/pi8010.htm

I want to use LCD for computer and tv tuner so I don't have to wait for computer to boot up when I just want to watch TV (the tuner also give you CD/Radio information from receiver)

well with analog controller I can use the video converter but I get only 640x480 when I use a computer which is not big enough for me.

I hope I can get more resolution with pci contoller but ther is no input (I think) for the signal converter.

Please help me, is there any alternative way to do this?
