Is this the same unreleased BIOS as discussed in this thread a while back? I'm guessing probably.

I couldn't lock on to 800x480,, only 60hz refresh was available. I'll try this out, but I'm not optimistic.

    Oh please people, be clear!

    Do you have:

    - 800*480 resolution (NOT 848*480!!!)
    - @something else than 60Hz
    - your lilliput/xenarc/whatever native 800*480 screen (so no crt!) locking and recognizing this resolution

If not, please tell so too, so i'm not waiting for answers that'll never come (and a lot of athers with me).

    Thanks!

I tried this a while back and I couldn't get it to work. It wasn't even clear to me which driver version i needed to use. Using the latest drivers didn't provide an 800x480 setting using the drivers supplied with the 1.16 modified bios didn't work for me either. The only time I've seen 1:1 pixel mapping is when I set the resolution to 800x600@60hz, the result is an 800x480 lock but I'm missing the bottom of the screen... so... please post details!!!

I'm with you JC-S60 we need to make sure is no just the default refresh rate and that it locks in the lilli or xenarc screen native resolution. (so no CRT!!)

I did read your second post. I thought you were referring to modded BIOS' as in the user-modded 1.13s and 1.16s that add support for the new video drivers and unlock settings, which are all over the forums. I was talking about the prerelease by VIA.

I'm not going to bother with this one until I see at least one success story. I'm using the BIOS from the other thread here, with unlocked settings through modbbin.
