    Post Standard video cards w/ LCDs

    I see all kinds of LCD controller cards. Can't I just use a normal video card if i have a VGA lcd.

    if you have a VGA INPUT LCD then all you need is a standard video card but most people are trying to use laptop VGA displays (that do not have VGA input) so they need to use a controller card.

    VGA means 640x480x16

    It doesn't nescessarily mean that it has an analog connector. If it does, then it already has a controller card on it
