    Post LCD backlight

    Whats the deal with the LCD backlight? Do you control it with a pot? Switch? Both? Does it suck much power? If you have the polarized film on your LCD does the backlight still work good? Thanks.

    got a similiar question. my pot for my contrast has to be turned all the way p to see the chars on the lcd. is thsi normal or should i replace the pot? if so what should i replace it with. thx,

    If you used a 10K ohm pot like on the diagram, It will only work in a very limited range. A 100-500 pot would be much better.
