    SP-716 Question

    Hi Guys/Gals

I just recently bought a SP-716 indash monitor from Yuki on ebay. But I can't seem to get the screen to open. I pressed the open botton quite a few times. I powered it up inside my home using a spare fully charged car battery. The led turns on, but the screen does not open. Do I need to hook it up to a computer and install the driver? Or did I just received a defected one? Please help.

    Thank you guys,

I have contacted yuki and customer support should contact me within 24-48 hrs he said. Hopefully it was my wiring but I don't think that was the case.

make sure you have enough current on the power lines. Also does the unit lightup?, if not the wiring was probably wrong. Also check the fuse.

.. All the front thing that lights up is OSD board which plugs into the controller. SO that mean the fuse is fine

Did you ground the green wire (ebrake wire)? what about the red wire (ignition wire)?

when testing connect black with green and red with yellow.

Thank you everyone. I was able to fix my problem. I turns out I had a loose connection. So there was not enough power to power up the screen. Only enough to light up the leds. LOL.. Thank you every for being really really really helpful.

I am having the same problem. I am using a 1.5 amp power supply. It was enough to power a different screen so i figured it would be enough for this one.
