Post Opinions on Pyle TFT displays sought

Anyone using a Pyle TFT display and care to give an opinion on it? Would you recommend one?

I'm interested in their 5.6" model PLVW5.5M, found here: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...15565&CATID=44 and their 6.4" model PLVW6.4M found here: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...15566&CATID=44 . ThankS.

the price is a little steep on that 6.4" nice screen i am sure u can find it much cheaper... exactly what do u intend on using the screen for... if u r just using it to see the playlist in winamp, then go with the one they have for $200... but if u can afford it go with a bigger screen

I have the Pyle 6.8" LCD and it is pretty good, other than I had some problems with a bad power wire. The Plye web site is crap, and support is very hard to get! I got mine for about $360 off of eBay.

Well, the Pyle 5.6" PartsExpress won't have until May 5.. I figure it'd be big enough to read Winamp's playlist yet still not too $$.

I contacted the contact # for Pyle in Brooklyn, NY, and left a msg. I haven't gotten a response yet. I'm wonder...hoping really, that I can get it cheaper buying right from them though I doubt it. When/if I find out their prices I'll drop a note here.

Pyle....support? LOL! Let me tell you..I've called them repeatedly @ the Brooklyn, NY, phone# they list on their website for the past three days. I keep getting a machine saying all lines are busy and to leave a msg and they'll call back. Yeah, right. I left a message the first time I called and still haven't heard from them.

I gave up on them. I found a site tonight, G-Net www.carlcds.com , up in Canada that has a 6.8" TFT for $395. Cabling, remote, and mount included. The res specs are same as PartsExpress' 6.8" Pyle $497 model. I ordered one and can't wait to get it installed.
