DO I need a separate stereo if I buy this LCD?

Hey guys, I have two question. What's the difference between this two LCD? I just could not find any differences between both of them. One and Two . Also, would I need to put a separate stereo to listen just to the radio or cd's?

    The difference is $50.
Seriously, they are the same unit. It's also The DWW-700M at DigitalWW. It was sold in the MP3car store as well, but isn't currently listed. The SVO-12000, I believe.

This is nothing more than a touchscreen monitor. It won't play CDs. It doesn't have a radio. It does have a TV tuner, however. You could hook up an antenna or CATV and view programming that way.
Just make sure you disconnect the CATV before you pull out of the driveway.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?

DO you have a pc. Because the lcd is just the screen and that will hook up to the pc for video and touch screen input. Then once you have that you can choose to run the sound of your pc threw a headunit aux ports(a radio cd player) or you can buy a 4 ch amp and run off of your computer sound car directly into the amp and then to your 4 speakers. Both options have benifits and draw backs. But look in the faq section and you will find all the options on how to run your pc audio. Or just do a search. GL

Yeah, I already have a PC. I currently have a Pioneer LCD in my car, but I done playing with it, I just won't get any visual on my Pioneer. I currently have a amp powering my four inside speakers, so the amp would go to my stereo..

The LCD doesn't conenct to the stereo. It's for VIDEO, not AUDIO.
The audio from the PC would go into your headunit. Be sure to get one with AUX IN specifically for that purpose.

You can also forgo the headunit all together and run audio formt he PC straight into the amp. The PC would play your CDs. And yes, you can get a radio tuner card for the PC. Good luck finding AM, though.

Seriously, I recommend a trip to the FAQ Emporium and doing some reading. You also might want to check out the Show Off Your Project forum to see what others have done. It's a good source of ideas.
