Did you just wedge a 7" Lilliput into the double-DIN opening?

It's actually a DIN2.5 opening.

I didnt just wedge it either. I bolted the little swivle stand it comes with onto a metal plate under the opening, then slotted the screen onto it, and put on the cover

It's pretty solid

I just cut the front off the factory stereo, and filed it down to fit.

False front in place. I havent glued the knobs into place yet.
