    Question multiple lcds?

If I was to install the 4" parts express headrest lcds.. could i simply splice the output from the ATI all-in-wonder (i just want the same thing on each) or is there any good ISA tv out cards? (i only have 3 PCI slots.. need ati all in wonder, soundblaster, and hollywood plus in them)

or could i just use 2 hollywood plus cards to output video to the headrest displays?

wow...research helps...i think youre barking up 3 of the wrong trees. 1) vid out would be best from the ati...split it into two. its an analoge signal so thats ok. if its fuzzy try an amplifier, but i dont think that will be necessary. 2) forget hollywood plus...just use software decoding and if you want 5.1 use the sb live! and 2 hollywood plus cards...thats just an accident waiting to happen....good luck.

i have to use the hollywood plus, im only running a p200mmx .. it wont be able to handle SVCD/DVD without it

so splitting the ATI signal will work? ill just use a passthrough from the H+ to the all in wonder, then splice the output from the all in wonder..

those passthroughs suck...they really eat up the video signal. i'd switch the output if you can.

but thats a pain having to switch the video cables every time you wanna watch a DVD.. is there some way to build a switch thatll automatically switch output to the hollywood plus once i play a movie? so i dont have to swap cords to the LCD screen?

I thought that the all-in-wonder incorperated mpeg decodeing on the card. I just got a Radeon and my movies look great, much better than any other card that I've tried. So is that Hollywood card really necessary?

Yes, ATI AIWs do have DVD/MpEg2 decoding. Although, depending on which version of the AIW you have, will effect how well DVD decoding performs. The Original AIWs have somewhat decent decoding but aren't always the fastest but should get good quality with a 200mhz Pentium. Now if you have a Radeon AIW just scrap the Hollywood. The Radeon's DVD decoding abilities are a lot better. (If you have the AIW Rage the chip is the same as the Radeon but the Rage is a lot more stable.)
