hmm... thats what i found too... lets see..
thank you for the fast answer
EDIT
but this displays you can find are frong..
grr....
i will write an email to sharp
i think they will help me ...
thanx a lot !
i just saw that the datasheet LCD has 31 pins...
mine has only 30...
thank you anyways for your help !
finding data sheets can be hard heres some advice I have gottin very good at it over the years first forget search engines and look at the manufactures website in this case it is Sharps site
but you won't find any data sheets at the Sharp corp web site as it is a comsumer site
there is alwase a subsitary that makes electronic parts unless electronic parts are all the company makes in this case what you are looking for is Sharp Microelectronics
if a search at the site fails it does not mean the data sheet is not there it only means the search engine can't find it if you keep searching the site manualy you will find it unless it has been out of production for more than 8 years or if the device is dangerous or protected under national security laws for instance if you are looking for a data sheet on a highly accurate nav gyro or gps unit you won't find it but if you look hard enough you will find the local FBI feild office most electronics companies keep data sheets for 8 years after production stops
here is a link to what you are looking for I found it in 2 min's at Sharp Microelectronics Americas but I had to look manualy to find it
http://www.sharpsma.com/library.php?ProductGroupID=51
there 4 tables on the page look at the third or fourth table down it is listed in both tables
the res of this lcd is to low for pc use if that is what you are thinking
what device did you get this lcd from?????
EDIT
OK....
first of all : thank you and sorry for my bad english, im from germany and sometimes i would need some more words in my mind...
so... the display is from a navigation system ( from a whole console part )
maybe its just a test version of the display so that the main factured thing
another display is used.
my display type is : SHARP LQ065T5ARO1
thats what it says...
it has a build in DC-converter so i don't have to connect the lighting to an extra cable like with the SHARP LQ5AW
the display has a 30pin cable so i think that all the datasheets found till yet are not for mine.
Display size (only real display area ) : 14,5 cm * 8 cm ...
thats what i know about the display...
i wrote an email to sharp and asked for the datasheet ...
i hope that i will get an answer.
thank you for your help, maybe you can keep that things in mind for maybe you will see something interesting.
Thank you very much !
does your display have a controller card ?
I think it is the same lcd panal but I think that the 5ARO1 at the end of the modle number is the controller board that the orignal buyer requested when they bought the display from sharp
here is an example a 7805 is a common voltage regulator 5v 1 amp a 78L05 is the same voltage regulator but L means that the max current is only 500ma they are the same pins and all
does the panal look the same as the drawing in the LQ065TBR51 data sheet you say the cable has only 30 pins but how many pins are on the connector for the cable at the pcb I think you said that the data sheet shows 31 pins your display controller card might not need one of the pins and it may not be in the cable this is very common
what make and modle nav system did this display come from ?
and what can you tell me about it?
what are you trying to do with the display?
if you are trying to send a video signal to it there other ways to find the right pins take some pictures of the display and post them if you can power on the display I can tell you how to find an input safely without a data sheet but you will have to answer a lot of questions and I will need some good pictures of the display
so i wanted to know if its possible to connect it to a VGA Card.
sho here are some pictures of my display .. i put them on a other site
for bigger look....
i found something.
the last picture shows a pin that is connected to the case of the display...
maybe thats GND or the 31st pin :-)
if you need more pictures , maybe of a special area or better pictures, please tell me.
im very prowd of someone is helping me that much in here...

Sorry that this is a little off topic. What kind of didgital camera is that? I have a pretty expensive 5.0 megapixel but yours just looks great with these up close shots.
