Works fine with a DC adaptor. Hope you figure it out.
PLEASE help me:I tried powering my 8" lilliput vga & monitor with a DC adaptor set at 12V (since I lost the power cable) but it doesnt seem to turn on, Could someone who has the same unit and a DC adaptor try this? (please be sure to set it at the right current flow "+ to -" or vice versa, the right way should be printed on the actual power adaptor that comes with the lilliput screen, could someone please do this for me and tell me if it works with the adaptor. also I'm thinking that my adaptor does not run at the right mA, it only runs at 1000milliamps and I believe the unit needs 1200 milliamps to power on, please please please someone PLEASE do this for me, from your help I will be able to figure out a bunch of things: if my unit is busted or if it is just that I need the right cables, please help me out, your help is greatly appreciated.

did you take it apart at all? if you did maybe the ribbon cable that goes from the back board to the button panel isnt seated correctly. it happened with me before and it doesnt turn on at all if its not in right.
Actual yes...that did happen to me also. I thought I had broken..ANOTHER monitor. But it was the ribbon. I'd check that too even if it looks like it's in there right.
