    To: greenman100 / 2loud2old,

Thanx 4 the repliez guyz. I don't want 2 b rude, but if u guys wud hav saved those clicks on the keyboard 4 something a lil better, it wud hav helped alot.

I don't c nething wrong in the way i type, n 2Loud2Old if u can translate wat i wrote that ez, it only meanz that u understood everything, so y waste forum space with a post which totally means nothing.

Try 2 b helpful instead of picking out what u might think az mistakes and/or pointing @ something that U don't like.

    Regards,
    Aj.

I guarantee you will get more help if you post in a manner which follows the grammatical rules of the English language

The point is, it is more difficult to read in internetese/ghettoese. You are asking for help but making it harder for people to help you. Kind of selfish if you ask me. There is no reason for it other than trying to look cool and instead looking like a fool. Try making it easier for people to help you and you will likely get more help.

Thans for all the help and info. Actually i'm just confused, cause i'm living in Saudi Arabia, and there are no good lcds here and not many ppl know bout 'em. So i'll b ordering from the net.

But i'm also on a budget, could you guys guide me 2 something good and cheap ? Basically the lcd would only be to watch movies, but if i find a pocket easy VGA lcd, i'll get one.

Waiting to hear from you guys, thanx again.

    Thanks for the note StrataG,

When i read other threads about ppl who talked off topic or more on how someone typed or something, instead of helping, i just wondered why all the fuss and not just help the guy. And i don't have to look cool here or anything, it's just the way i type, there are better places where i would show off to look cool.

Anyway, i'm only here for help and not argue, and i appreciate you guys putting in your comments. And no i'm not selfish, if i were you, i would still help anyone if i could, as long as i understood what he wanted.

But i'm going to go by your rule, so lets start again with a new english dictionary.

Thanks again for all the help.
    Regards,
    Aj.

Well, you need to decide if you want a computer or not. Non-VGA 7" screens go for about $150 - I have a brand new In-Dash LCD that I'll sell for $125. VGA screens usually go for $300+. This is of course in US Dollars

Now that we've got that sorted i'll add my opinion
If you plan on purchasing a screen for your carputer i suggest stick with the popular brands. "You get what you pay for", perhaps just wait ahwile before you can afford something good like the automated Lilliput screen as mentioned above. Or try the spring loaded Xenarc 700IDT.

p.s. Now i can actaully be stuffed reading your postings instead of trying to read them.

Well i've seen the lcd in that link. To what i see there, it's basically the same screen like other non-vga types if i'm not going to use a carputer on it. The resolution are same 2400x480.

K i only need a lcd for movies not a carputer. What's my best option now ?

    Regards,
    Aj.

if it's just for movies, a non-VGA screen is best. they're all about the same in terms of quality. THat one I PMed you about would be fine.

Thanks for all the info and help. Just one more question, if i hook up the non-vga screen to my carputer's TV-out s-video or rca, would the movies come out in good quality? I'm not worried bout windows or text. Cause i'll be running QuickView.

    Thanks again.
