Thread: kit to fit dash?

Theres a kit for sale that gets rid of the "shell" on a touchscreen, essentially making it easier to fit into a dash that an assembled screen wouldn't normally fit into. I figure I could make some sort of "shell" for it to sit in that is exactly the right size to fit my center console. My question is however, how would you regulate turnon/off of the screen and also adjust the display settings? Thanks.
