Yes it's been done. No, it doesn't improve the situation.
Well i am new to the whole carpc thing and i have read the faq's about it and i just wanted to see what people's input is. I have a good quality LCD screen its not vga, i know most of the time it is said it will be too blurry and not a good picture at all. But i wanted to see if anyone has used a video card with S-Video out and ran a S-Video into a s-video to rca into the lcd and how did it look? I know i think i pretty much answered my own question and i know that it really doesnt matter the quality put in its only going to be as good as the non vga can display. Just wanted to see about getting some input and see if anyone did it and it was at least ok versus just the worst crappy picture. Thanks in advance.
Well, I am assuming it is NTSC this means that the vertical resolution is 525 lines. That is around 640x480. I.e: It'll suck. Alot.
...I love the French language...especially to curse with...Nom de Dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperies de connards d'enculés de ta mère. You see, it's like wiping your *** with silk, I love it.
thanks i'll take a look and see what i can come up with. Thanks for the fast replys
The best way to see is to try it on your television set. If you've got a VCR with S-Video in or a component of some kind with it, plug it in and see for yourself.
If you don't, try running the video in. Then imagine it just a teeny tiny bit better. That will be S-Video.
