model # is not valid. is there a "PT-?" on it somewhere?
OK long story short - Buddy bought a car, last owner of said car left a 7.2'' Power Acoustik LCD in the glove box, buddy owes me money + free lcd = I got a free lcd.
Ok so the problem is this thing only has one connector. Power and video into one 8 pin connector. I need to be able to plug this into the carputer and I would like the power to be ran seperatly from the video so there is not interferance. Can't find any pics online but heres some ASCII art for ya

that lcd runs on such little current, there probably won't be any noticible interference, which is how the manufacturer can get away with making a single connector.

Well until I get my 15" I'll use this to get me by. Can you tell me a way to connect it anyways? I'm sure I will still have a use for it.
I honestly can't tell you, due to lack of data sheets for that unit, and not having it here to look at.Originally Posted by Pokiarchy
If you can open the unit and take some nice closeup pictures of the control board, where the cable connects to, I may be able to identify the pins for you.
tried that, the screws are stripped and i dont have an extractor that small.
