Was it a 7" linitx screen you had? what problems did you have with it?
After two problems with 7"s they sent me a 8" widescreen replacement.
Seems a much better product. Cables and controls in much better place.
Screen is bright and thr touchscreen works a treat.

1st one had a red line down the left side of the screen
2nd one started to pixelate after about 5 mins and you could not see the screen.
hopefully the 8" W/S will be better, looks like a different design
I have a 7" screen and am also on my second one the first would come up with a 2 tone blue screen on occasions. Both the screens have a power LED which seem to have a mind of there own, they go on and off when they please. I get the feeling these screens are not all they're cracked up to be. Having said that I do like my screen it's very clear even when running 848 x 480 and the touch screen is very nice to use.
