auto salvage

there are a number of very large salvage yards here where i live, Does anyone have a quick list of vehicles that came standard with some type of screen so I might be able to salvage one cheap? :-p

No vehicles come standard with a screen. It's always an option.

You'd have to be a pretty lucky individual to pic up a screen from a junk yard. Between the tow truck co, owner, and salvager i'd think you'd have a better chance of a hong kong jet dropping a lilliput on ya head.

Nope. The current model doesn't even have it as an option, although earlier models might have offered it.

be a bit pointless anyway.

1. will be at best TV quality.
2. interfacing to it will probably be a pain.

and the junk yard will probably charge you a lot for it. unless they are totally thick.
