Bright monitors on ebay

I found these things on ebay and wanted to know what you guys think. The backlight of 1500 nits alone seems to be worth gambling a hundred.

and, since when is Hitachi made in the USA?
decent setup though, and would almost be worth a 100.oo to canabalize the ccfl setup.

Just bought a 12 inch touch screen moniter off of ebay, paid 250, it called a MobileVu
and it is 1500 nits. Has anyone heard of it or using it. This is their web page with
the specs. Let me know what you guys think. Its a full sunlight readable and night dimmable display for the mobile computer used in law enforcement, fire, safety, utility, transportation and medical applications.

yea thats hte one i use. (Cost me 40 tho

on ebay). The only thing is at least with mine. its doesnt have all the colors "800 x 600 with 262, 144 colors" . So some shades dont come out right. Doesnt bother me tho, movies and what not look fine, just if there is a real complex pic i can see the diff.
And there is a pot on the side that controls the backlight. No problem reading it in day light tho.
Im happy with it.
