    lilliput USB power surge warning?

everytime i try and plug in the usb for the touch screen windows gives me that usb power surge warning? can't remember the exact words, but it won't work now.

very was working fine untill i decided to change my boot install. the screen still works perfect minus the touch screen error.

when i plug other USB stuff in (like a usb mouse, powermate, etc) it works perfect.

tried searching but couldn't find anything useful. anyone come across this problem before?

Sounds like you've reached the current limit of the USB buss. Try using a different USB buss or a powered USB hub.

i don't understand how i can reach the limit when:

    1) it worked perfectly before with no issues
    2) when i test it, i have nothing else plugging into any usb port.

could it be a faulty usb cable?

all this info is over kill. you have a short in your usb cable. probably around the end that plugs into your computer.
