I was looking to get an inverter that allows me to dim the CCFL using PWM and surprise-surprise, I found a cheap *** one on eBay.

The guy says that it works fine with small screens, so I assume it'll work with all the 7" and 8" ones we have. It takes 5V in (I'll probably use an LM7805) and an extra pin for PWM (or short it to 5V for full-duty operation).

I'm going to pick up a few of these... at $2.99, I don't think I can go wrong
