Power consumption of a xenarc? good ways to power it remotely/small battery pack?
What is the power consumption of a xenarc? And is there any good ways to power it remotely or by batteries in a (non car) enviorment?
The power supply says that it is a 15W supply, but what do they actually draw? I read a thread that said 8W – 9W, does someone have a solid number from actual tests?
Are there any solutions to have a remote battery pack capable of powering the screen for a reasonable amount of time that is a fairly cheap solution?
Just wondering as I responded to a post about a ipod video connected to a xenarc, and was wondering if anyone had done this for a larger portable screen solution?
Since this is only for video, what would be a low power consumption screen solution that was not a touch screen or even vga resolution, as it really wouldn’t need it for this application I would think, and it is only composite/RCAs out?
Any cheap ebay solutions that are not going to fall apart in your hands first use, and are low/very low power consumption and at least comparable to the brightness of a xenarc?
Any ideas or thoughts?
