Xenarc 700TR and strange no signal problems...

    Hi all,

before post I tryied to find some information about my problem but It seem not yet described.

I've a M10000+PW80+3.5" drive. The power of 700TR monitor is directly from +12V of PW80. If I start the system and I don't push on the monitor until the windows desktop is displayed evething is ok. If I switch on the monitor during the windows start-up the monitor shows correctly the screens up to the final screen just before the desktop is displayed when windows shutdown the monitor and it don't start anymore.

In conclusion I had to switch on the monitor after I hear the windows start up sound, it mean when I'm sure the desktop is displayed. If not the monitor gives "no signal".

    Somebody knows this problem?

    bumpity bump.

I'm having a very similar problem. I have a Xenarc 700 TSV powered off of an OPUS POL off the acc line. turn on on the OPUS is hooked up to my HU's amp line, so the screen turns on and off with my HU (which is nice).

was working fine for a while. Now it's got problems. If I'm starting it first thing in the morning, or after work (when the car / system has been off for a while) then it boots up and screen powers on normally. If, however, I drive for a bit, turn off the car / system (like eating dinner / buying gas) and turn it back on, then the following happens:

(I resume from hibernate) boot screen, then hibernate loading screen, then as soon as windows loads, the screen stops receiving signal and powers off. Then I get the ding-dong of the touchscreen USB powering off. Computers still running fine -- music still plays, GPS still works, etc.

Again, this only happens when the car has been recently run. And I pulled the computer and hooked it up to a monitor on my desk and it works fine.

The only thing I can come up with is that it's some kind of overheating issue. But the screen will happily run for hours and hours on a road trip. It's only when I power cycle it that I get problems (and not always -- just 50/50)

I'm going to try your thing of waiting to power on the screen after windows fully loads. Hope that helps. But does anyone else have any bright ideas?

I also had a similar problem. See my post here:

Xenarc 700TSV - Intermittent no video after loading windows screen?

I have tried all kinds of things to get a controlled situation with no luck. I have contacted Xenarc and sent my screen in for repair. I will let you guys know how it works out. Anyone else had experiences like these?
