    Privacy Screen pictures

I was thinking about a privacy screen for my lcd. To make it less visible when driving around the neighborhood, but more for when I get the gauges all digital and mount the monitor where the existing gauges are.

So I hunted ebay and got 3m one for cheap. I must have misread the part numbers as I got a framed one. I wanted the unframed as they are made to cut down.

I might be able to cut this down, but the glass and the layer sandwiched between might make it tricky.

Here's so not so great shots for anyone thinking about it.

The glass itself is pretty dirty. That's not helping the light output.

If I can get away with it from my driving position, I'll probably use it. I could tilt the monitor in the double-din towards me somewhat to help as I redo the mount, but I don't know about that. I like symmetry and I don't care for the extra work right now.

I think the output on the non-framed ones might be higher as they're not meant to reflect glare so much.

Finally got around to taking a short vid of it installed (in case anyone is interested), I ended up buying a flexible one, I managed to cut the glass down, but fitting it inside the lcd due to depth was a problem.
