    Legacy LM56
    5.6" LCD Mobile Video Monitor

    12 Volt Power
    Active Matrix
    Overall Dimensions 152x127x46mm
    Operating Temp: 30 Degrees-C to 85 Degrees-C

Thats all the specs I can find on this monitor.

Bought on ebay for $50, and I am using it for system monitoring.
It has a RCA input as well and windows sees the resolution at 1600 x 1200 pretty much as default and can go down to 340 x 280.
I get the usual interference that comes with composite when the signal is coming from a SVGA port on the video card (to a RCA adapter then to the monitor).
So after trying any and almost all PowerStrip settings that I could find similar situations & eqipment (and getting frustrated watching the damn interference), I decide to take it apart.

and I look closer and see Sharp written all over it.

I look up those board numbers and still no luck.
Then I notice this piece that obviously looks not as well made as the LCD part.
    This controls the contrast/brightness/color

So now I start to really look at the LCD assembly and notice how many wires are connecting to that janky board (including power), and I start wondering how many pins are actualy used in a vga signal.

If I could find specs on this monitor (or the LCD assembly), I could at least see what I could do to fix the interference from a software stance, but what are those wire's functions (they are the only connection to the janky board which in turn has only 1 input - Composite w/ power), and how close to a VGA signal are they.

It would just be too easy to just make that a good LCD monitor, but I'm hoping

    Any help would be great.
I tried to take good pictures so you can read the board's numbers

All I an find is this:

What inputs does it have? You say "it has a RCA input as well " - as well as what? What other inputs. Also, what resolutions are you getting out of this that are readable? I heard that 640x480 works well. What about 800x600? Is it still readable on the screen?

    Thanks,
