    What is the cheapest touchscreen LCD I can buy...

    Hi guys,

    I am new to the forum and planning my cost effective carputer install..

    I need to know what the cheapest touchscreen LCD is....I do not want the motorized in dash ones...

    My intall is going to be simple and removeable. Im going to be using my laptop and a power inverter.

    You can get a $100 RCA-input screen and a touchkit overlay.
    The RCA-input screen would requipre your laptop to have TV-out and will likely look like ****, however.

    Look for a forum member selling a used Lilliput in the Classifieds section. You may also find a good deal on EBay.

    Also, I'd recommend looking into a car adapter for your laptop. It's more efficient than an inverter, not to mention making for a cleaner installation.

    thanks for the info!

    I might just go for a used lillitput or xenac (sp..) ...No point putting in a lot of work only to have it look like ****...
