Lines in car LCDs when loud music is played

Hey, I have 2 sunvisor LCDs connected to my DVD deck. The deck has 1 video out, so they are split with a regular Y rca cable. When playing music videos, it is fine up until 30% of maximum volume, and the lines get increasingly worse with volume. Someone recommended a video amplifier, someone else recommended a group loop isolator. Which one will fix the lines? Thanks in advance

are you powering your displays on the same rail as your HU, or amp? sounds to me like the increased power on the audio side is pulling power away from the displays.

It could be a switching power supply u are using to power up the Display.Clip a multimeter to teh display power supply and check the voltage, if it dips below say 10.5v then there is a problem.also make sure the common ground is tightly hooked.if not try and make a common ground with a jumper.
