No.
I did some searching on Froogle, Ebay, DigitalWW, even on this forum and I really cant find what Im looking for.
Basically all I need is a In Dash LCD with VGA in.. it doesnt need to be touchscreen, doesnt even need to be motorized. Im placing it above my head unit that I already have installed and Id like it to be hidden so people cant walk by and notice it, which is why I want it in-dash.
Im connecting my laptop to it for GPS and going to put a wireless keyboard under my seat, which is why I dont need it to be a touch screen. The LCD on my laptop it shot, meaning right now the whole laptop is basically going to waste.
Id like to stay under $150 though I dont mind going a little higher.. anyone know of anything in that range?
No.

buy a cheap regular screen and mount the stand on the dash. put it under your seat when you leave the car.
That would be a bit more of a pain in the butt.. plus look horrible.Originally Posted by Freelander
You could always do the psone screen with a vga mod, although Im pretty sure that has a low resolution
I don't think an in dash 7" non motorized, non touch is even available. Soooo your only option is to make your own, or pony up 350+ and buy one.Originally Posted by CharredChar

You cant even get a DESKTOP screen for $150, how the heck do you expect to get a specialty car VGA screen for that much? I'm sorry, but fun toys like that cost a lot, it's just one of those facts of life.
You best bet, is buy a 7" screen for about $200 and find a broken in dash screen on e-bay. Combine them any you might be abel to pull it off sub $250.

Well.. Ive seen some LCDs for under $150, none VGA though.. I was hoping to not be force to pay $450 just for a VGA option because that is a ******* rip off.
Anyway.. I guess I have no option but to spend a little more, though I still think its stupid as hell and unfair to spend so much on one just because its VGA.. but hey, its how companys like to anal rape people, since they still pay for it.
