Looking through the forum on lcd there seems to be a bunch of different connectors on different controllers and tft's. Most character displays are easy to hook up to the parallel port, but there are several layout of the pins. The graphics lcd's have even more different connectors and there might be room for a "connector faq" somewhere here. post pics of your connectors and state where they can be found, and pinouts etc..
