Post USB port on the side of the Lilliput screen

I just receive my CarPC i bought used from a member of this board.

I want to know what is the used of the USB port on the side of the screen. I use a 12 volt booster pack to power the system. If i connect the usb port the screen wont go on and the wire get really hot, if i disconnect it everything is fine.

I didn't install the driver for the touchscreen yet i was thinking that the USB port is for that but since it get really hot i dont want to let it connect it to long.

    Thanks

um... pretty sure thats NOT a usb port. They just used it as an easy to find "propritary" plug for the screen. Now my new screen doesn't have that and I didn't use the composite ins and audio and stuff, but I think that that port is for the composit video's and audio. Hope you havn't blown it!

You are freaking lucky that the screen hasn't burn yet.

The USB (male) that attach to the VGA cable is the TS plug.
The USB (female) on the screen is the AUDIO/VIDEOs input for the screen.
