    Motorised MP3car.com display

OK I bought this motorised display...plugged it in, didn't work, was all weird like...so I took it apart and there was a trace on the main power line had burnt out...so I re-soldered it...now when I plug it in it seems very weak, like the motor starts off ok and then struggles to move the screen...and even when i eventually get the screen open i get up the display and it gets brighter and brighter til its just white...I think it's ****ed, I'm ****ed off as it cost $500 or whatever plus import tax to the UK...PLEEEEASE help!

Is there are reason you have not contacted the MP3Car.com store about this, instead of posting this online. What do you normally do when you buy something and it is broken?? Do the same thing.

I'd think sending it back would be less hassle than voiding warranty and needing to purchase a new unit.
    But that's jsut me...
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Sooo, your ****ed because you voided your warranty, and can't fix the unit. Who's fault is that.

While I understand your frustration with the MP3car store, SOMETIMES this happens, even with the biggest and best of companies.

The proper response would have been "Hey MP3, you sent me a bum unit, send me one immediately, and you cover any VAT or tarriffs because you effed up" I bet they would have been, "your right, we will take care of it", Instead, you effed yourself. THat is not thier fault.

If you like, I will buy it off you.

Well, with out looking at it, and checking it out, it is IMPOSSIBLE to know.

I would buy it from you and take the chance if you are willing.
