I know this is a looong shot but I got nothing to lose.
Yep, I just lost the remote sometime around last Thursday and the few universal remotes I've tried aren't working with my LCD. I bought the LCD from G-Net in Canada. It's a 6.8" TFT lcd, model# CTW68LCDMON. There's no manufacturer's name or model# on the box it came in and since there was practically no usefull info in it I threw out the manual. So, I've got nothing to go on. I'm waiting back from G-Net after asking them for any info on the unit or remote. The LCD looks like all the other ones I've seen out there, silver, with the Ir eye and yellow power light on the right-hand upper side of the unit. Any help is appreciated.
This is an update... the manufacturer is CCHT. I just found their site. Here's the exact unit I have: http://www.cchitech.com.tw/marn02-02.htm I just fired off an email to them asking for the "remote code(s)" so I can use a universal remote with the LCD. Hopefully they'll know what I'm talking about. I'll keep everyone updated since this particular model is supposedly the most popular 6.8" unit in the US.
