Going by the picture on page one, I did the multimeter test and here is what I came up with!

    1. +12V - Red
    2. Ground - Brown
    3. Ground -
    4. Composite Video Signal - Black
    5. Composite Video Ground - Yellow
    6. Right Audio Signal - Orange
    7. Left Audio Signal - Yellow
    8. Audio Ground -

Keep in mind I only had 6 wires coming out of the whole thing! Any suggestions on how to hook this bad boy up? lol

    Suggetion #1

    Yes, use a different cord.
When u plug that one into the unit the left channel audio will be shorted to grouind. Doing so will surely burn out the audio op-amp eventually, if not immediately.
u nee a cord with 8 (if not 9 wires) to ensure u have a wire for every pin (and ground shield).
Having pins connected together right at the plug is not going to be of any use to u unless the pins connected are pins 2 & 3 ONLY.
    (both grounds)

    No

That's not what I am saying. I said the cord u have WILL NOT WORK.
    That's all.
Look at the pinout and Think how good would be to short out the left audio channel.
What u do from this point is up to u.

    Maybe

I was just makig it clear I am not just making statements to "sell" what I have. I happen to know what I have works. He has to decide for himself what he wants to do. I am from a service background, not sales.
I refuse to "sell" anybody anything. If I have to "sell" it, that means that they don't need it.
btw - I paid as much as I am asking for the cords I'm really not making anything off them, I added like a buck for the shipping to pay for my gas and thats it.
My intentions are altruistic, not opportunistic
