look what i found: Some Xenarc/Gain 700TSV pinout data
Hi everyone, posted this as well in the input devices section..but no luck there. Anyone know if the main connector for the Super and Xenarc LCD are the same type? I am trying to track down what type of connector it is without any luck. I assume it is some type of centronics connector (like the HPCN36), but it only has 13 pins (well looks like 26, that is 13 on the top and 13 on the bottom). Anyone know what type of connector it is? It was suggested to check Digi-key, but I couldn't figure out which connector it was.
Thanks.

Yea...I saw that, that is why I was asking if the Xenarc and Super are the same. It appears that the Xenarc is a 20 pin connector, but the Super is a 26.
Thanks for the link, but I am still left wondering if the Xenarc and Super are the same, and I am somehow mis-counting the pins. Tried a number of searches without a clear answer. Anyone know?
Thanks.
well if you look at your connector and then the xenarc and they are not the same then surely the answer is no!
Well ..pictures are one thing..and since I know there are several versions of the Xenarc, trying to make sure. Maybe I am missing something... is not the point of this forum to exchange ideas, get help, get other people's opinions on the subject. Obviously if I was certain I had the answer...would not be posting the question.
If you have anymore suggestions, great, otherwise you are really not helping me out. Someone out there must have directly compared them... or knows the answer![]()
look, why don't you try posting a pic of the super connector. not may people buy that monitor (cos it's a POS)
the xenarc came with 2 damn connectors. there are pics of both on the forum. comparing them to what you have infront of you is not exactly rocket science. infact i am sure my cat could do that!
Never let it be said you don't have an opinion... lol. Will try and take a pic tonight, and post it later. Thanks.

There is just something about them that shows they are well made.
I understand man...you paid 400 bucks for yours...has to be justified somehowNo doubt Xenarc is good...probably not the best but good. Really I wonder in a blind "taste" test..how many could tell the difference on screen quality. In terms of build quality, only time will tell if they stand up or not.
Here is a picture of both sides if anyone can help. Definently 26 pin, I think it may actually be a Sharp LCD connector - would make sense if it is indeed a sharp scree.
