Just got off the phone with Xenarc Tech support...said it has to be a problem with the bezel. I guess I'll try to sand down the inside of the bezel a little more...
But even when I pulled the screen out of the bezel it was still doing the same thing![]()
Ok, I've had my 700TS installed in my car working flawlessly for about 2 months. I made a custom dash mount, and installed the monitor, and that's when the problems started. At first, the pointer wouldn't leave the bottom left corner of the screen. I'd drag with my finger, and as soon as I let go, went right back down.
At first, I figured maybe I got some bondo on the touchscreen, or something was hitting the screen on the mount, but I checked both and everything was fine. I even put the screen back in the original housing, and it was still doing the same thing.
So, I left it in the housing, and uninstalled the drivers and the touchkit, and reinstalled. Worked fine this time. Put the screen back in the mount that I had made, reinstalled everything, worked great.
Wake up this morning...upon coming out of hibernate, the point is now stuck in the bottom right corner, doing the same thing but on the other side now. I didn't have time to fix it as I was on my way to class. When I leave class, I get in the car, and out of hibernate, it works fine again
Now, I'm home, a few hours later, it's doing it again. So, I go through the same process, uninstall/reinstall...same thing. Get the updated software from Xenarc's site and try that...same thing. Now, it's causing other problems- I'm having trouble getting out of the bios boot screen (sitting at 'checking usb controllers') when the USB from the screen is plugged in.
Someone help me before I rip this friggin thing out and launch it down the street![]()
